            JR. MAHL SAINTS HOCKEY TEAM   
 

The MA Hockey League is proud to announce the 'Jr. MAHL Saints' Boston area team to play in the New England No Check Hockey League. 2017-2018 will be the first season of the New England No Check Hockey League and we are pleased to offer a U16 Hockey Team to compete.

 

Boston Area Team with practices in Somerville and other surrounding Boston area locations
Games TBD all throughout New England but mostly around Massachusetts. Home rink TBD but looking like Somerville.

The No Check Team is ideal for following

  • Players who have suffered concussions and want to continue playing but need a less physical option.
  • Players who want to play competitive travel hockey but do not want checking.
  • Players who feel their size is not adequate for checking hockey.
  • Female Players looking to continue playing co-ed without checking

2017-2018 Jr. MAHL Saints Hockey Team Details

-$2,495.00 per player, Jerseys and socks included!!
Note: Goalies play for free but must be reliable and able to make almost all practices and games.

-U16 (2001-2004)

-Team Size: 13-20 Skaters and 2 goalies

-1-2 Practices per week
Practices on Tuesdays at 4:00pm in Somerville
&
2nd practice hour 9:00pm in Somervills
(Other times could be added as needed and available)

 

-30 New England NCH Games

(Tournaments Playoffs)
*Games played all around MA and Southern NH

Dates:
Friday June 2nd - Sunday June 4th,¬ 2017

Basic Tournament Info:

  • 1st Annual Boston Tea Cup
  • Adult (18 )¬ Ice Hockey Tournament
  • Full Ice¬ - 5x5¬ Tournament
  • Three Games¬ Guaranteed (Three 15 minute periods per game)
  • Plus semi-finals (usually in¬ divisions with more than 4 teams) & Championship Game¬ for top¬ teams
  • Games Start Friday Night at 5:00pm¬ and go through Sunday Night. Start and end times of each division will vary by the¬ number of teams that enter into each division. Games will be from 8:00am-11:00pm¬ on Saturday and 7:00am-8:00pm¬ on Sunday.¬ 
  • Two referees¬ for each game plus scorekeeper

Divisions:

Note:¬ Divisions may be re-aligned based on teams that enter. (IE¬ There may end up¬ being a B1 and a B2 Division)

Team Registration: $1395

Registration Info:
Teams must submit at least a $250 non- refundable deposit to hold there teams spot.¬ Registration closes May 20th.
Teams must be paid in full before their first game.

  • Runner-ups:¬ Team Trophy & T-Shirts
  • Gifts for all players
  • All Captains will get entered into a drawing to win an All Black Hockey Stick

Tie-Breakers:
After most points is Wins, Head-to-head, Goal Difference, Goals Against, Goals For, Least amount of penalty minutes, coin flip.
